Recently, I had the pleasure of treating my team to an unforgettable experience at Udderly Ridiculous Farm in Bright, Ontario. This charming farm offers a unique blend of agriculture, entertainment, and gourmet treats that left us all with smiles on our faces and a newfound appreciation for farm life.
     
A Picnic Like No Other

 

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the alpaca picnic. We enjoyed a delectable charcuterie lunch in a scenic field, surrounded by a group of gentle male alpacas. The serene setting and the company of these curious, woolly creatures created an atmosphere that was both relaxing and entertaining. It was a lunch experience unlike any other, combining gourmet food with the charm of farm animals.

 

Goat Galore

 

After lunch, we had the opportunity to interact with the farm's goats. The baby goats, in particular, were irresistible, with their playful antics and soft fur. 

 

More Farm Friends

 

Udderly Ridiculous Farm is home to a variety of animals beyond alpacas and goats. We also encountered miniature Highland cows, with their shaggy coats and gentle demeanor, as well as a flock of hens. Each animal encounter offered a unique opportunity to learn about farm life and animal husbandry.

 

Farm Experiences and Activities

 

The farm offers a wide range of experiences for visitors. While we didn't participate this time, they also offer goat yoga sessions, combining the calming practice of yoga with the playful energy of goats. It's definitely on our list for our next visit!

 

Farm Market Delights

 

Before leaving, we made sure to stop by the farm's market store. Here, we found a treasure trove of local products, including their award-winning goat milk ice cream. The store also offers a variety of cheeses, alpaca socks and throws, and other locally-made goods. It's the perfect place to pick up souvenirs or treats to enjoy at home.
